Gabrielle has Directed 14 full length plays working with some of Melbournes most talented actors on some incredible scripts. Including, RIOT with Johnathan Peck (red stitch graduate), THE WINNERS with Ra Chapman (Wentworth) and Timmy Knowles (Xfactor) and Ghosted with Kate Lister (Seachange) and Lucy Cowden (Neighbours)

‘Flesh Eating Tiger’ Directed by Gabrielle, was invited to be performed in America at the Last Frontier Theatre Conference in Alaska. The show was seen by Arlene Hutton resulted in Gabrielle recieving an invitation to study Directing at the Barrow Group in NYC.

Since closing down her beloved theatre ‘The Owl and Cat Theatre’ Gabrielle has worked as Artistic Director with Fresh youth Theatre and is set to embark on a resident Directorship at the Alex Theatre in St Kilda, heading up 2 shows there in 2020. Gabrielle is currently working with Sly Rat Theatre company to develop A Brave New World - the book, into a stage play.

She also co-created and directed the new play Ghosted by Michael Thebridge, which was staged to sold out crowds at Chapel off Chapel in 2019.

She has artistic directed, curated and created 3 seasons of new plays at The Owl and Cat Theatre, 2 new work festivals, PLATFORM (new devised plays) and ORGASM (short plays).

Gabrielle has directed 10 showreel scenes for actors and 3 short films. The short films are, killers by Kevin Armento, Red Boots and Half Smoked Cigarettes and Drawers in front of doors, both written by her. She has directed 2 mini documentaries, big fish small pond in Alaska USA, and the seafarers mum Darwin AUS.

A pilot episode for a tv show concept titled BOO! written by Michael Thebridge is her current project.


Gabrielle has directed 2 internal advertising campaigns, one for Woolworths and one for Pure Blonde.
